PTA & MEF

We are fortunate to have two incredible partnering organizations, the Murray Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the Murray Education Foundation (MEF), that work tirelessly to support our students and educators. Both led by volunteer parents and community leaders, these groups play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience at our school through volunteering, fundraising, and providing essential resources.

Please learn more about each organization and find out how you can get involved. Your participation, whether it's through volunteering your time or making a donation, makes a real difference in the lives of our students.

Currently, Longview Elementary is engaged in a fundraising campaign to secure money to pay for a new playground. Donations are being promoted by school officials and Longview PTA, but funneled through MEF (a 501c3 organization). Please consider making a donation today!

  • Murray Education Foundation

    The Murray Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds to support innovative programs, grants for teachers, and scholarships for students across the district. You can make contributions or learn more about the Foundation at Murray Education Foundation's website.

  • The Murray PTA is a group of dedicated parents, teachers, and community members who advocate for our students and schools at the state and federal levels. Locally, they organize events, support classroom activities, and work to build a strong school community. Membership is open to everyone, and the modest dues are used to support student activities and initiatives each year. Go here to join now.
